Updated: 5 days ago

Choosing the perfect escape room adventure can feel overwhelming—especially when each game offers a unique storyline, puzzle structure, and difficulty level. At REACT Premium Escape Rooms, every adventure is hand-built and thoughtfully designed to deliver immersive experiences for all types of players.

Whether you're planning a team-building event, a family outing, a birthday party, or a night out with friends, this guide will help you find the escape room that fits your group best.

What to Consider Before Booking

When selecting your escape room, consider these key factors:

• Group size

• Experience level

• Preferred difficulty

• Lighting and atmosphere

• Linear vs. open-path gameplay

• Age range and maturity level

• Purpose of the visit (team building, party, date night, etc.)

Below is a breakdown of all five REACT adventures to help you decide.

Raiders II and the Rooms of Doom – Our Most Complex Adventure

Difficulty: Hard

Recommended players: Up to 15

Best for: Large groups, team building, experienced players

Story & Theme

Step into a legendary treasure hunt inspired by classic adventure films and real Connecticut folklore. This mission draws from the tale of the infamous pirate David Marteen, who allegedly buried priceless treasure somewhere in Granby, CT. Your team begins inside a remote cabin that has recently been discovered, rumored to hold secret clues left behind by those who once sought the treasure.

As you investigate, you’ll uncover hidden symbols and mysterious stones believed to serve as a map—guiding you closer to the lost fortune. The deeper you dig, the closer you get to solving one of history’s greatest local legends.

Room Setup & Atmosphere

The adventure begins in a large, open, well-lit cabin space where multiple puzzle areas are accessible immediately. Larger teams can split into smaller groups and tackle different sections at the same time, while smaller teams will need to work more independently to progress.

The space is filled with rustic details, old maps, and cryptic markings that enhance the treasure-hunting experience. As the mission unfolds, the environment subtly transforms, leading players through unexpected transitions and atmospheric shifts. Without giving too much away, your journey will take you through a narrow, dimly lit passage that opens into a dramatically different setting—one that feels ancient, secluded, and worthy of guarding something truly priceless.

This room is ideal for:

• Corporate team building

• School groups and camps

• Birthday parties

• Families

• Puzzle enthusiasts seeking a true challenge

If you're looking for a high-energy, multi-path experience that pushes teamwork and communication to the next level, Raiders II is your room.
